Fire Hydrant Flow Test Scheduled for Kamehameha Avenue

A fire hydrant flow test will be conducted on Kamehameha Avenue in Hilo on Friday, May 13.

The test will run from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

During the testing period, customers in the affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours.

Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water to meet drinking needs during the testing period and until water resumes to normal.
