All lanes of traffic along Kanoelehua Avenue in Hilo have been reopened.

A vehicle accident along Kanoelehua Avenue in Hilo has caused a two-lane closure. The closure is between Lanikaula Street and Leilani Street.
The inner two lanes northbound are closed, with two outer lanes remaining open.
Motorists in the area should expect traffic slow downs as crews work to clean up the roadway.

The Hawai’i Police Department anticipates the closure to last for the next several hours.
