badgeA portion of Mohouli Street will be under a temporary one-way traffic pattern on Monday, May 9 through Wednesday, May 25 as work on the Kapi’olani Street Extension Reconstruction Project is conducted.

The Hawai’i Police Department issued an advisory Thursday noting that traffic will flow only in the makai direction on Mohouli Street between Popolo Street and Kinoole Street from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Motorists traveling Puna bound on Kapi‘olani Street will be detoured onto Wailoa Street.

Mohouli Street will be restored to two-way traffic after 6 p.m. each workday.

Questions regarding the project or closure should be directed to Isemoto Contracting Company, Ltd. at 935-7194.
