Right Turn Lane Work to Begin on Kuauli Road Tuesday

A right turn lane will be installed on Kuauli Road at the intersection of the roadway that meets Volcano Highway beginning Tuesday, April 26.

The work will be conducted by County of Hawai’i Department of Public Works crews on the makai side of the road heading towards Kea’au.

Work will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through Friday, May 20.

Motorists driving in the area should anticipate delays and drive with caution as heavy vehicles and machinery will be in the work zone.
