Two felonies have been charged to a Puna man who was connected to a Volcano break-in on Sunday.

The Hawai’i Police Department responded to a 4:12 p.m. call on Sunday, which led to the determination that an unknown man had entered a home on the 11-3800 block of 7th Avenue in Volcano and threatened a 25-year-old woman with a pipe.

Authorities say the woman escaped to a neighbor’s house and called police.
