badgeThe public’s help is being sought in providing information about the theft of a generator in January.

An older model Hitachi 6000 generator on wheels was removed from a base yard on Wailana Place in Honoka’a sometime between Jan. 26 and Jan. 27, according to the Hawai’i Police Department.

The generator was faded green with a black frame. It had a fuel gauge cover that was sealed with silicone due to a prior leak.

Anyone with information about the theft or who knows where the generator might be should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Officer Charles Martins directly at 775-5733.
