Man Featured on “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” Turns Himself In

The Hawai’i Police Department reports that one of “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” has turned himself in.

Jon Garcia, a 35-year-old Pahala man, was featured on the most recent airing of the local cable access television program.

Garcia turned himself in at the Hilo police station on Wednesday evening.

Upon turning himself in, HPD arrested him on the strength of a Grand Jury indictment and charged him with first-degree meth trafficking, being a felon in possession of ammunition, two counts of promoting a dangerous drug, and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia.

Garcia’s bail was set at $66,000. He was released after posting bond.
