Temporary One-Way Easter Traffic on Kapiolani Street

The Hawai’i Police Department has announced a traffic change on Kapi’olani Street for Easter season activities at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Authorities say the roadway will turn into a one-lane road headed in the Puna, or south, direction between Waianuenue Avenue and Haili Street.

The change in traffic will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday, March 25, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, and from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 27.

Parking will be allowed on both sides of Kapi’olani Street during the scheduled times.
