Landslide Forces Temporary Closure Near Kolekole

badge 123The Hilo-bound lane of Highway 19 near Kolekole Beach Park was closed for a short period of time Tuesday morning because of a landslide.

According to the Hawai’i Police Department, the lane was closed just before 6 a.m. It reopened at approximately 6:21 a.m.
