HPD Locates Man Wanted in Connection to Stolen Truck

A 22-year-old man wanted for questioning in connection to a stolen pickup truck has been located.
Kainoa Lindo of Ho’okena was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle at 9:30 a.m. on Monday in Captain Cook
Authorities say Lindo is being held at the Kona police cellblock as Area II Criminal Investigations Section detectives continue to investigate.
The truck was taken from the parking lot of an Ali’i Drive complex on Jan. 29, and was recovered in Ho’okena on March 8.
