Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has received several endorsements ahead of this month’s Hawai’i Democratic Presidential Preference Poll.

According to Clinton’s campaign, United States Senator Mazie Hirono, former Governor George Ariyoshi, and Irene Hirano Inouye, wife of the late Senator Daniel Inouye, have pledged their support for the candidate.

Clinton’s campaign notes that it had previously gained support from various Japanese-American leaders in Hawai’i, including Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui, former Representative Colleen Hanabusa, and current Rep. Mark Takai.
