HFD Responds to Pahoa Structure Fire

A Saturday afternoon fire in Pahoa claimed a 15-foot-by-15-foot storage shed.

Hawai’i County Fire Department firefighters responded to the scene on Ocean View Parkway at 2:28 p.m., where they found the structure engulfed and a Toyota pickup truck partially engulfed in flames.

A total of seven fire personal responded to the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and the total loss is currently unknown
