James Forrest, 44, has been located by authorities.

The Hawai’i Police Department issued an alert for the wanted man late Monday afternoon.

Forrest was wanted on a bench warrant for contempt of court and for questioning in an abuse and sexual assault investigation.

Police say Forrest turned himself Monday at 6 p.m. He was arrested and charged with contempt of court.
