Hunting at Pohakuloa Training Area is on pause this weekend as military training is underway.
United States Army Garrison-Hawai’i officials say that hunting will not take place on Feb. 6 and Feb. 7 as scheduled training takes place.
Nearly every weekend, Pohakuloa Training Area opens up various portions of its grounds for hunting of a variety of mammals and birds. Permits are required.
To learn more about hunting at PTA, call the PTA Hunter’s Hotline at 969-3474 or visit the U.S. Army Garrison website and click on the “hunting” tab.
