Kawamoto Pool to Close Friday For Maintenance

Charles “Sparky” Kawamoto Swim Stadium in Hilo will close all day Friday as repairs and maintenance work will be performed.
The Hawai’i County Department of Parks and Recreation says the pool will reopen on Saturday during its normally scheduled public recreational and adult laps swimming time at 8:30 a.m.
Information regarding each of the County’s nine swimming pools, including operating schedules, event listings, and holiday closures can be found on the County’s aquatics website.
Public pool admission is free.
