The Hawai’i Police Department issued an alert late Monday evening regarding missing Nakaji, who had last been seen at a Hilo home at 11 a.m. that morning.
Authorities say Nakaji was found at 12:41 a.m. Tuesday, after a woman reported that she had seen him near Richardson Beach Park in Hilo and recognized him from the alert.
