Police Search for 79-Year-Old Missing Man

The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for 79-year-old Ted Nakaji, who was reported missing after last being seen at 11 a.m. Monday at a residence on Ala Muku Street in Hilo.
Authorities describe Nakaji as 5-foot-3 and 135 pounds. He reportedly has white and black hair.
Nakaji is known to go walking in the area of his home.
If anyone spots Nakaji or knows of his whereabouts they should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Those who prefer to remain anonymous can call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
