HPD Investigates Alleged Threat Against Big Island Judge

An investigation is underway into an alleged threat against a sitting judge on the Big Island.
The Hawai’i Police Department reports that police received information on Monday that a threat may have been made against a sitting judge.
HPD is working to address the incident along with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
The incident is being investigated as first-degree terroristic threatening by the Criminal Investigations Section detectives.
