HPD Searching for Missing Man, Michael Kalla

The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for 48-year-old Michael Kalla.

Authorities say the man, whose last known address was in Honoka’a, has been reported as missing after last being seen in Kalapana on Oct. 5.

Kalla is described by police as 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds. He has a muscular build with balding dark blond hair. Police say Kalla also has green eyes and a scar under his chin.

Anyone who may have information regarding Kalla’s whereabouts should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous should call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
