Weekend Lane Closure

Reconstruction work on Umauma Bridge continues, according to the State of Hawai’i Department of Transportation.

Weekend and night work is scheduled at the bridge, which is located near mile marker 16 on Highway 19.

The roadway on the bridge remains under a seven-day-a-week, 24-hour schedule as bridge rehabilitation work is underway.

Speed on the bridge is reduced to 20 miles per hour.

All lane closures are weather permitting and have the possibility of changing without notice.
