Police Search for Missing Ocean View Woman

A 34-year-old Ocean View woman is being sought by the Hawai’i Police Department after being reported missing.

According to Police, Shanera Echols was last seen at 5:30 p.m. in Ocean View onThursday.

Echols is described as 5-foot-5 and 192 pounds. She has dark brown hair and was last seen wearing black pants, a hooded camouflage khaki jacket and blue slippers.

HPD officials say she has a medical conditions that requires medication.

Anyone with information regarding Echols’ whereabouts should contact Detective David Matsushima directly by calling 326-4646, extension 228 or e-mailing [email protected]. Individuals can also call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
