Hale Nani Inmate Fails to Return

Jensen Yadao, a furlough inmate, is the second of two Hale Nani inmates who failed to check back into the facility on Monday.

According to the State of Hawai’i Department of Public Safety, Yadao, 24, left Monday morning for work and was scheduled to return by 9:30 p.m.

Yadao is a community custody inmate, the lowest classification status, who is part of the work furlough program will pass privileges. His next parole hearing is scheduled for March 2016.

When he did not arrive, DPS notified State Sheriffs and the Hawai’i Police Department.

Yadao is 5-foot-4 and 120 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was serving time for assault and abuse of a family/household member and now faces an additional charge once located.

Anyone who sees Yadao should call 9-1-1.
