Flood Advisory Issued Through 9:15 p.m.

A Flood Advisory has been issued for western portions of the Big Island through 9:15 p.m.
The National Weather Service reports that just after 6:15 p.m. radar was showing heavy showers over the lower Kona slope, from Honaunau to Holualoa.
NWS reports that the showers are nearly stationary. A Holualoa rain gauge reportedly recorded two inches per hour in the area.
Kailua-Kona, Captain Cook, Kahalu’u, Keauhou, and Kealakekua are included in the advisory.
