The Hawai’i Police Department reports that the roadway has been reopened.

A vehicle accident near the 14-mile marker of Daniel K. Inouye Highway on the Kona end is currently closed in both directions.

According to Hawai’i Police Department spokesperson Chris Loos, the accident was reported at 2:44 p.m.
