Lincoln Park Flag Raises Following Pole Repairs

A flag-raising ceremony was held on Veteran’s Day at Lincoln Park in Hilo.

The ceremony was conducted by Hawai’i Police Department officers following the completion of necessary flag pole repairs by the County Department of Parks and Recreation.

Now that work is completed, HPD is seeking veterans, service, youth, or community groups that are interested in the responsibility of raising and lowering the flag at the park on a regular basis.
