No Tsunami Threat Following 6.6M Chile Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no tsunami threat to Hawai’i following a 6.6 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Central Chile.
According to PTWC, the earthquake occurred Thursday at 3:55 p.m. Hawai’i time.
United States Geological Survey officials say the earthquake was located 55 miles northwest of Coquimbo, Chile; 58 miles west-northwest of La Serena, Chile; 91 miles west-northwest of Vicuna, Chile; and 93 miles northwest of Ovalle, Chile.
