Man Wanted for Questioning in Halloween Assault

Thirty-one-year-old Kallen Imade, who is known to have last lived in Mountain View, is being sought after by the Hawai’i Police Department for questioning in connection with an assault on Halloween.

Imade is described by police as 5-foot-6 and 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

According to HPD, South Hilo Patrol officers responded to a report of an unconscious man in a parking lot on the 100 block of Hema Street in Hilo at 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Witnesses told police that the victim has been involved in an affray with another man who had left the area.

The 49-year-old Hilo man, who was the victim, was taken to Hilo Medical Center and later transferred to The Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu, where he remains in critical condition.
