Hawai’i CC “Express Admission Day”
Hawai’i Community College will host it’s first-ever “Express Admission Day” on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Two events will take place, one at the Hawai’i CC’s Manono campus in Hilo and another at Hawai’i CC’s Pālamanui campus in Kona.
Students interested in applying to attend one of the Hawai’i CC campuses for the Sping 2016 semester should attend the Express Admissions Day, which is the fastest way to apply for the semester.
Those who attend can complete an application, receive their MyUH Student Number; schedule the next steps in the enrollment process, such as academic advising, orientation, and placement testing, and have their questions answered by Hawai‘i CC representatives.
“Express Admissions Day is designed to make enrollment as easy as possible,” said Jason Cifra, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at Hawai‘i CC. “Prospective students can fill out an application and immediately get their MyUH Student Number, which is a critical step in the enrollment process. In addition, Hawai‘i CC representatives will be on hand to answer questions and schedule next steps.”
The deadline for anyone interested in applying for the Sping 2016 semester is Dec. 1.
Classes for the Spring semester begin on Jan. 11.
Attendees of Express Admissions Day can enter to win a scholarship, and current Hawai‘i CC students who bring a friend can also enter to win a scholarship.
