The Department of Water Supply will conduct a fire hydrant flow test along Milo Street, between the Kea’au-Pahoa Bypass Road and Railroad Avenue in Kea’au, on Monday, Oct. 26 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

‘Ulupono Street, Preciado Lane, and all side roads and lanes may also be affected.

Customers in the area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the testing period.

Those who may be affected by the hydrant test should refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
