Suspect Caught on Surveillance Wanted

An individual caught on surveillance is being sought after by the Hawai’i Police Department.

Authorities ask members of the public to assist in identifying the suspect of a late May burglary.

The suspect entered a business on the 27-0000 block of the Old Mamalahoa Highway in Papa’ikou without permission between May 29 and May 31.

In the image, the individual appears to be male, wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt, pants, and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information regarding the case or the identity of the suspect should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Randall Hancock directly at 961-2213.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous should call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
