Distance learning will be the topic of an Oct. 27 informational meeting held by the University Center at Pālamanui and the Shidler College of Business, part of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.

During the meeting, Distance Learning Executive MBA and the Masters of Human Resource Management, programs offered by Shidler, will be discussed.

The Distance Learning Executive MBA program provides neighbor island professionals and military personnel on Oahu the opportunity to complete the 22-month program online with video, audio, and the internet in real time. Classes are held online Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and alternating Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

MHRM program information will also be shared. The program is a 16-month, 30 credit graduate program that would be delivered through a videoconferencing format. Classes are held Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and alternating Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Both of the programs will begin in Fall 2016.

The meeting will be held at the new Hawai‘i Community College – Pālamanui campus in building A/B.

Light refreshments will be provided at the free meeting.

University Center at Pālamanui officials suggest RSVPing by visiting the Shidler website, contacting Toni Mingo at (808) 956-5774, or e-mailing [email protected]
