The Hawai’i Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a person wanted in connection to a burglary investigation.

According to HPD, an unknown person entered a house on the 800 block of Kukuau Street in the Sunrise Estates subdivision on April 22 without permission.

The suspect, whose image was captured on surveillance, appears to be male and in his late teens or early 20’s. In addition, the image shows the suspect wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering on the front, black athletic shorts with a vertical blue stripe on the legs, white shoes, and a black baseball-type cap with a red letter “R.”

Police say the suspect was also wearing a gray backpack.

Anyone with information regarding the case or information on the identity of the individual pictured should call Officer Christopher Jelsma at 961-2284 or 961-2221, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
