HPD Seeks Hilo Man Wanted on Warrants

A 35-year-old Hilo man is being sought after by the Hawai’i Police Department on several arrest warrants.

HPD reports that George Kahakua is wanted on four contempt of court warrants with bail that amounts to $1,450.

Kahakua has been described by police as Caucasian, 5-foot-6, and 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair, a tattoo on his back, and a scar on his right hand.

Anyone with information regarding Kahakua’s whereabouts should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
