Military Convoy Scheduled for Sunday

Military convoys of Oahu-based service members are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The convoys will travel from Kawaihae Harbor to Pohakuloa Training Area, using Akoni Pule Corridor, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, Waikoloa Road, Mamalahoa Highway, and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway.

Hawai’i Police Department personnel will escort the convoys.

Activity coordination was conducted through support between PTA Department of Army police, local authorities, and military units.

Motorists who plan to drive along the mentioned roadways should remain alert and drive with care.
