Flood Advisory Issued Through 4:45 p.m

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for the Big Island through 4:45 p.m.

Just after 1 p.m., radar was showing heavy rain on both east and south slopes of the island, with the heaviest showers producing more than two inches of rain per hour in the Volcano area.

Mountain View, Pahala, and Wood Valley are also included in the advisory.
