Alternating lane closures will take place over the next two weeks at Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park’s front entrance as a window frame replacement project takes place.
Park officials say the closure will begin Wednesday, Aug. 26 and last through a tentative completion date of Thursday, Sept. 3.
During the project, motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians entering the park should anticipate delays at the entrance between 12 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. as work is conducted.
