A 50-year-old man wanted in connection to an incident that took place last week has been located.

The Hawai’i Police Department arrested Kurtistown man, William Chase at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of burglary and four counts of terroristic threatening.

Police took Chase to the Hilo police cellblock while Area I Criminal Investigations Section detectives continue their investigation.

On Friday, Chase allegedly went to a home on Uau Road in Kurtistown, where he reportedly brandished a firearm at a 19-year-old acquaintance who answered the door. It was alleged that he subsequently entered the house and threatened a 44-year-old woman, a teenage boy, and a teenage girl with the weapon before he left the area in a pickup truck.
