Artillery training is scheduled to take place at Pohakuloa Training Area.

The training will take place by Oahu-based service members between Wednesday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 29.

During the training, United States Army Garrison-Hawai’i officials say that noises may be heard in communities surrounding the area. Officials say should noises be heard, there is no immediate danger. Overcast conditions and other weather activities can increase the noise and vibrations.

Scheduled dates have the possibility of changing, pending environmental and other factors.
