Police Renew Request for Wanted Woman

A 19-year-old woman is being sought for by the Hawai’i Police Department on an outstanding bench warrant for contempt of court.

Cristinalynn Kainani Wakita was initially sought after on July 2. Police are renewing a request for the public’s help in locating her.

HPD also wants Wakita for questioning in other investigations.

Wakita is described as 5-foot-4 and 117 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on Wakita’s whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Donovan Kohara at 961-2272 or e-mail [email protected].

Individuals who prefer to maintain anonymity can contact the Big Island Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
