Hilo Medical Center will soon add additional state-of-the-art equipment that will provide advanced patient-centered care.
Hospital officials say that staff members at the facility are preparing for the new angiography equipment, a Siemans Artis Zee Biplane system, which will provide assistance in cardiology, interventional radiology, and vascular surgery.
Hawai’i State Trauma Program funds have also provided necessary funding for a new Toshiba Aquilion One Vision 640-slice CT scanner. Images produced through the new scanner will provide faster and more accurate diagnosis at the hospital.
