Construction and improvement work will begin at the Glenwood Recycling and Transfer Station on Friday. According to the County of Hawai’i Department of Environmental Management, the work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. and last until 3:30 p.m.

The center’s hours are Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Work will take place during those operating days and the public is asked to use caution as they enter the facility.

As the construction period gets underway, the rubbish disposal will be moved closer to the entry of the Transfer Station and roll-off bins will be provided for public use.
