Woman Charged After Striking OMKM Ranger Vehicle

The identity of a woman arrested on Mauna Kea early Sunday morning has been released.
Forty-seven-year-old Cynthia Verschuur Marlin of Pahoa was arrested by State Sheriffs after she rammed her car into the vehicle of an Office of Mauna Kea Management Ranger. The incident happened just after 2:30 a.m.
Marlin was arrested by State Sheriffs for criminal property damage and was later charged for the offense, in addition to obstructing. She posted $500 bail and was released.
