Dillon Revilla was charged at 2:45 p.m. Thursday with second-degree escape and three firearms offenses. According to the Hawai’i Police Department, his bail was set at $37,000.

Revilla remains at the Hilo police cellblock awaiting his initial court appearance, scheduled for Friday.

A man who escaped from police while being handcuffed Tuesday night was located by the Hawai’i Police Department the following evening.

According to Police, Dillon Revilla was found at 5:35 p.m. in Honomu. He was arrested on suspicion of escape and three firearms offenses.

Revilla was taken to the Hilo police cellblock as Area I Criminal Investigations Section detectives continue to investigate.

On Tuesday, Revilla was being arrested for a firearms offense in the Kamaee Falls area of Ninole when he fled from police while handcuffed.
