Man Flees From Police Handcuffed

A man who escaped on foot while handcuffed is being searched for by the Hawai’i Police Department.

Twenty-two-year-old Dillon Revilla was being arrested Tuesday night for a firearms offense when he fled from police while handcuffed.

HPD says the incident happened in the Kamaee Falls area of Ninole.

According to police, Revilla is described as 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair.

Anyone who may know of Revilla’s whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous can call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
