Beginning Monday, July 6, work will begin on Kaiwiki Road’s Mā‘ili Stream Bridge. The work will consist of replacing old timber components and adding preservative-treated wood.

The work will be conducted Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays, and will cause the road to be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Officials from the county’s Department of Public Works expect that the work will be completed in a two month period, as weather permits.

To review the daily work and bridge closure status, visit the county’s traffic and road work website.
