Tonight
Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight with scattered showers for windward areas. Leeward areas should get mostly cloudy skies to start with clearing expected through the night as the land breeze takes hold. Variable winds are forecasted up to 15 mph. Low temperatures from 70° to 75° are expected.
Looking Ahead
Winds are expected to be light through Friday. Daytime heating will produce local sea breezes which will cause clouds and scattered showers over leeward and interior sections each afternoon and evening, followed by local land breezes and clearing skies overnight. There may be a slight increase in afternoon showers over the next couple of days as an area of enhanced moisture currently located near the eastern Big Island pushes up over the remainder of the state. The trades are expected to return for the holiday weekend.
