The following temporary weekend road closures have been announced by the State of Hawai’i Department of Transportation for Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hawai’i Belt Road, also known as Highway 19, will be under an alternating single lane closure in both directions between Jardine Road and Puualaea Homestead Road. The work will be conducted in the vicinity of Laupahoehoe Gulch.
Work along Old Mamalahoa Highway in the vicinity of Kaawalii Gulch between Jardine Road and Old Mamalahoa will be under a single lane closure in both directions.
All lane closures are weather permitting and have the possibility of changing without notice.
