Convoys of Oahu-based service members are scheduled to travel between Pohakuloa Training Area and Keaukaha Military Reservation in Hilo on June 10 between 8 a.m. 4 p.m.

Roads used in the convoy will include Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Puainako Extension Route 2000, Komohana Avenue, West Puainako Street, Kanoelehua Avenue, and Hilo Airport Road. During the travel, the Hawai’i Police Department will escort the convoys.

Coordination between local authorities, military units, and the PTA Department of Army police has made the activity, in support of unit training, possible.

Motorists who expect to drive along the specified roadways during the scheduled times are advised to drive with caution and remain alert.
