Big Island Gas Prices Continue to Rise

Big Island gas prices are continuing an upward trend.
The average cost for a gallon of regular gas in Hilo is currently $3.20 as of May 22, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report. The estimate is up $0.14 from the same time last month, and up two cents from yesterday.
In Honolulu, the current average is a penny less at $3.19 per gallon of regular gas.
One year ago, the average price of regular gas in Hilo was reported to be $4.17 per gallon by the AAA Fuel Gauge Report.
