May Day Brunch on Kamakahonu Bay

For over 85 years, Hawai‘i has been celebrating May Day as Lei Day, celebrating the season by wearing leis.

The tradition continues this year with a May Day Brunch on Kamakahonu Bay on Sunday, May 3, from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the Makai lawn of the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel.

Food stations will be offered with a no host bar among the sweet scent of plumeria flowers in an oceanfront setting.  There will also be live entertainment by LT Smooth and Amy Hanaialii Gillion, a chart-topping female Hawai‘i vocalist.

The family-friendly event is the 2^nd annual May Day brunch at Kamakahonu Bay.  Seating begins at 10:30 a.m. and tickets are $39 for adults, and $15 for children 12 and under.  Tables for 10 may be purchased for $390.
